Project Parava Social Impact Foundation is a registered NGO (Section 8 company) committed to creating opportunities for underserved communities through education, environmental initiatives, and community development. We believe small actions can lead to meaningful change.

Our Story

The word Parava (Malayalam: പറവ) means bird — a creature with wings that can fly, symbolizing hope, freedom, and new beginnings. It reflects our vision of giving wings to individuals and communities so they can grow, learn, and move forward with confidence.

What began as a desire to contribute meaningfully to society gradually evolved into a structured initiative focused on education, environmental responsibility, and community development. We recognized the need for simple yet impactful programs that support children, families, and local communities — especially those with limited access to opportunities.

Project Parava was founded to bridge this gap— Where Hope Finds Its Wings.

We believe real change does not always begin with large-scale interventions. It starts with small, meaningful actions — introducing play-based learning for young children, guiding parents, organizing community clean-ups, conducting camps, supporting local artisans, and creating opportunities for communities to learn and grow together.

Today, Project Parava Social Impact Foundation is a registered NGO and a Section 8 Company incorporated in Kerala, India, working to create opportunities for underserved communities through education, environmental initiatives, and community programs.

Jeffy founded Project Parava with a vision to create meaningful opportunities for underserved communities through education, environmental initiatives, and community development. She leads the planning and execution of the organization’s programs, partnerships, and outreach, focusing on practical initiatives that create long-term, sustainable impact. She also serves as a Director of Project Parava.

Jebby Jan

Director • Chief Operating Officer

As Director and Chief Operating Officer, Jebby plays a key role in turning ideas into action at Project Parava. He leads operations and on-ground coordination to ensure programs run smoothly and reach the communities they serve. Jebby oversees logistics, partnerships, and resource planning, helping build strong systems and processes that support the organization’s growth. He works closely behind the scenes to ensure initiatives are implemented efficiently and create meaningful, lasting impact.

Jabir leads Project Himalaya, Project Parava’s environmental and community initiative focused on clean-up drives and awareness in the Himalayan region. As a passionate traveler and nature enthusiast who has spent many years in the Himalayas, he has built strong connections with local communities and understands grassroots needs. He supports planning and on-ground coordination, helping bring the initiative to life.
